This was taken from the Ramparts Ridge Trail in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Washington state. A hard strenuous hike that didn’t seem to end. I was rewarded by views of the lakes from a high ridge, the Alpine Fir frame the blue waters. Taken with Nikon FM2 on FUJICHROME Color Transparency film.
