Kitten on Wood Table Top

from $20.00

This image was a challenge to say the least, and you could say I had a lot stacked against me. I just thought he had to be photographed in B/W large format, such crisp markings and long whiskers. I exposed about six sheets before I called a wrap. Lighting was a fabric umbrella and a battery powered strobe, background; black velvet and a white fill card. Exposure; f.8 almost wide open for that lens, I had only 2 that were in focus and just this one where he’s looking at the camera. ( Ilford FP4 4×5 sheet film, Date: 1983-4)
